For operations VPs · facilities directors · multi-site owners

I. A compliance program that doesn’t depend on one person.

Most hood-cleaning vendors quote you a person. Platinum quotes you a system — a documented NFPA-96 procedure, a trained crew running it, photo evidence on every job, and a continuity plan for when the primary operator is out. Victor is the standard-setter and the most experienced wand on the line. He is not, and structurally cannot be, the bottleneck.

II.

A crew trained to the standard the standard-setter would hold himself to.

Victor founded Platinum in 2008 after working inside larger commercial cleaning shops. He left because the standard he wanted to hold didn’t exist anywhere he’d worked. Platinum is the version that does.

Every operator runs the same SOP. Every job is photographed at the same checkpoints. Every certificate cites the same NFPA-96 clauses. The work survives the operator because the operator isn’t what the work depends on.

The contract

The work doesn’t depend on Victor. It depends on the system.

The system is documented. The crew runs it. Victor signs off on every operator before they work a commercial site unsupervised. The evidence is filed in your archive — not ours. If a hood gets cleaned, you can prove it. If it didn’t, you’d know.

02 · The work, code by code

Every section, cleaned to spec.

NFPA 96 isn't a vibe — it's a checklist. Six stages, each cleaned, measured, photographed, and filed. Step through the system.

IV.

Coverage when the primary operator is out.

01

Crew leader on call

Brent carries the same NFPA-96 certification and the same sign-off authority. With more than five years in the trade, he can execute any account on the roster without handoff friction.

02

Documented SOPs, not tribal knowledge

Every account has a written job ticket: access protocol, baffle count, cleanout-port map, fan-unit make and torque spec, photo checklist. Any certified operator on the crew can pick up the ticket and execute the job to standard.

03

Mutual-aid with vetted partners

For overflow capacity or extended primary-operator absence, Platinum maintains a reciprocal coverage agreement with two other NFPA-96 certified Midwest shops we know and trust. Same standard, contractually backed.

04

Photo archive, owned by you

Every photo from every job at every site is filed in a per-account archive you retain access to. If we’re ever unavailable, your next vendor inherits a complete history — not a memory gap.

V.

What lands in your inbox the morning after.

Procurement officers and operations VPs don’t just need the work done. They need the evidence the work was done correctly, filed in a place an auditor can find it. Here’s exactly what we send.

  1. A

    The NFPA-96 certificate of performance

Cites the exact clauses (§ 11.6.2 plenum, § 11.6.4 riser, § 11.6.5 horizontal duct, § 11.6.6 fan, § 11.6.7 containment). Signed by the certified operator. Stamped with date and account number. Filed in your portal and emailed to the address on the account.

  2. B

    Photo evidence packet

Before / after / detail shots for every stage. Roughly 50–80 photos per hood. Each photo carries a reference card with date, location, operator, and stage. Delivered as a dated PDF with the certificate, and as a folder in the archive.

  3. C

    Hood compliance sticker

Affixed to the hood with date of service and next service due. The artifact your inspector looks at first; the one that prevents the soft-fail conversation.

  4. D

    Operator notes, if anything changed

If a baffle had to be replaced, an access port had to be fabricated, a fan belt needed swap, a roof penetration was compromised — that’s called out in writing with a photo, and surfaced to your designated facilities contact before the invoice goes out.

VI.

Who we run programs for.

Most of our commercial accounts are under NDA. The segments are accurate; the names are available on request after a reciprocal NDA.

  • National QSR brand — Midwest region, 200+ locations
  • Regional pizza chain — central Michigan, 14 locations
  • Hospital food-service operator — 3 campuses, Jackson metro
  • Tier-1 logistics carrier — Midwest fleet washing program
  • Restaurant group — Detroit corridor, 8 locations

Client segment list is current as of the most recent rolling-window review and will be confirmed with the account team before each public deploy of this page.

VII.

Bring the documents you’d bring to any vendor evaluation. We’ll bring ours.

Multi-site scoping calls are roughly forty-five minutes. Victor or a senior operator joins. We’d like a recent inspection result, a site list, and your current hood-program SLA if one exists. We send back a written proposal within five business days.
